There is the Omega 111.004 which is a mechanical, hand wound, tank style. Similar sizes to a Cartier tank, around 28mm x 33mm. If you’re patient, they can be found for quite a good deal. There are many other Omega tank watch designs from the 1970s. Some of them are even large and carry similar movements, but the DeauVille line is limited to just three references (155.005 / 155.0005, 155.006 / 155.0006 & 155.007 / 155.0007), all of which are large, elongated, and share the same basic lines and dimensions. These are 31.5-mm x 40.5-mm excluding the crown and wear like a full-size 34-mm Seamaster. I have lots of other interesting square/oblong ones if anyone would like to see more. There are actually a large variety of Omega cased square and oblong watches from the 30s, 40s and 50s. Ref 3950 cal 342. Here in a 1933 catalog : Regarding datation, caliber 20F was created in 1929 and replaced by T17 in 1935 (although there probably were some 20Fsold later to empty stocks.). 'Staybrite was introduced by Omega as its new stainless steel in 1934. This probably dates yours around 1933-1935.
I've recently developed in interest in Horology and vintage watches specifically. I found this posting on Chrono24.com. The seller is a Chrono24 trusted seller out of Germany. Currently asking around 0 for this watch .. Pictures: What I Know: From the Seller: "Produced between 1916 and 1923. Chrome plated brass case. From the auctions pictures my guess was a CK730 and after consulting our expert in this area @Tire-comedon I think it is our best guess on a reference. CK730 was made with different case style and both cal. T17 and 20F. The serialnumber dates it to around1935. And some CK730 add's with credit to @Tire-comedon note the different cases and calibers. 1944 Omega Tank 15J 9ct Gold . 300 as seen in this image from Dr. Roland Ranfft's watch movement archive I found it funny that I had said in one of my previous posts that I found the Omega tank more masculine than the Cartier Must or Santos and that was one of the key words used to describe the watch in that Dec.1947 advertisement. I guess the styling still evokes the same feelings and thoughts some 92 years after being created.
