I find them a little too showy whereas I'm an understated guy. I would say Rolex’s reputation does lend itself to have its watches seem flashy but the actual watches themselves I would say are pretty tool-like. A gold daydate DJ, that leopard print Daytona, the rainbow bezel Daytona, some of them sky dwellers, are probably flashy.
Unless you get the white gold or platinum, it will look flashy on a person of any age. Just my opinion. If you want understated then get the Datejust, Oyster Perpetual, Explorer 1 or II.

But the dial is still amazing and lights up in sunlight like nothing else.Rather than a rainbow I wish they would make the stones in a GMT Batman style.
