Hello, I purchased my goyard shopping tote around 2 years ago via emailing the official goyard email. Since last year I noticed the bag handles are. Kinda skeptical now since I live in a city with very high temperatures all year round and I don’t want to splurge on a bag that will melt. Can anyone confirm this? It's not natural wear and tear, it's a known manufacturing issue. Goyard know and don't care (they have other issues too, apart from cracking straps, your white will likely discolour pretty fast). They will give you the runaround for months and charge you a fortune for a repair.
The vinyl is only on “outline” of the leather straps. It’s pretty typical on handbags. But yeah, the fact that it melts off and transfers onto my clothes and arm.
