I'm very new to watches and I don't have a lot of knowledge of movements, but I want to make a Panerai homage for myself. The problem is that it's really difficult to find parts that are for a 40mm watch. For inspiration, I used these genuine 3646 Cali dial watches. IMG_0089.jpeg. 3646Cali1.jpg. CASE: Nightwatch – fully shaped and polished case with inside and outside welded lugs. Case shaping was done by Gordon himself. Movement holder is aged and it looks like 80 years old. Crown tube is soldered to the case. I „glued“ all three dial parts and here we go. Finally I gave a vintage touch on both dial and hand. By the way, as you can see below, I couldn’t find the minute hand so I ordered a new set of hands and as soon as I get it, I‘ll upload new pics.
