Honestly, they're all great and I've owned from 1988 bottles up to a 2018 or 2019 bottle. It DOES smell different, but it's not necessarily better or worse - just different. It's still Fahrenheit, but altered. Some will prefer more current stuff, some will prefer older. Fahrenheit absolute is interesting, with incense, oud and myrrh. I enjoy it a lot, however at 0+ Cad I don't believe it is worth it. I just reading about fahrenheit cologne, now that I am curious and gotta get it too. And about batch code, 2 of my bottle have batch code cut out by distributor.Had kicked this off with a decant spray, 2018 batch. Soon after I found a proper 100 mL on discount and it's been great. Pure petroleum and leather, supported by dark florals. I originally ordered a travel size sample from FragranceNet, and although it doesn't have a batch code, I assume from my research in these forums it may be from a highly desired 2018 batch (good longevity, strong diesel, nice leather dry down).
